2009 was a big year for farmer Tom and his wife Aneta, because it was the first year that we offered Local Fresh Vegetable Boxes.  Due to the high demand for fresh local vegetables this growing season farmer Scott is taking over of the entire farm production.  Farmer Scott has been growing vegetables, fruits, and herbs for more than 20 years.  Since my early age I've been around my grandparents farm.  I always loved to visit and help out with the chores during the summer months at the farm.  I think that farming is in my blood and perhaps that's why I'm so passionate about it.  We farm in rural part of Hampshire, Illinois.  I've been growing fresh vegetables for my family to enjoy.  The flavor is superior compared to the food you eat that travles long distances.  Now, we would like to share our bountiful harvest of our fresh vegetables with your family.  Buying directly from your farmer  you will enjoy fresh quality local produce and in doing so, your family connects and supports your local farmer.
